Venture Desert

Tips:

• bonce points/points- You get points if your animals are happy or you acomplish a challenge.

• balence-keep a baleced food chain or you goal might go down.

• water- the desert is a hard place to get water, make sure you try to put as much water as you can or it will die.
  

What you try to do:

• You start with one animal. You create a habit for it. Try to make it as happy as you can.

• When it is happy your goal will fill up. If it fills up you will get on to the next levle.

• Every levle higher you will get another animal. This will make the goal harder to acoplish your goal.

• When you have all your animals you have completed the game.

• Your animals will breed and help you and your goal.

The Mojave desert Is the smallest desert out of the four deserts. This desert is 35* to 36* latitude and 115* to 117* longitude.

This desert has a little bit of everything. The plants there are the sagebush,jousha tree, brittlebush, and creosote bush. These plants are found in no other desert in the world.

Brittle Bush-It can reach a height of 1metre or more but it is a smaller rounded bush.

Creosote Bush-Is the most drought tolerant plant of North America. It can live for at least 2 years without any water.

Joshua Tree-In the higher Mojava portion of the park a called Inseelbegs are prtected.

Sage Bush-This stately beuty has earned its stripes because of his drought

In our ecosystem there are 9 animals.

The Javelina eats cactus, seeds, roots, and fruits. Javelina adults can be killed by mountian lion, but the babies are preys of the coyotes, bobcats, and other animals.

The Desert tortoise eats herbs, grasses, and wildflowers. Desert tortioses do not have predetors.

Thorny devil- ants

Pronghorn antelope- forbs, brush, and grass.

The Kangaroo rat eats seeds, grasses.  There predators are raptors, reptiles, and mammels.

Coyote- meats, fish, fruit, vetgtables. Coyotes have no predetors. They are one of the animals at the top of the food chain.

Cactus wren- insects, seeds, fruit.

Banded Gila monster- birds, harrs, rabbits, same mammals, lizards, frogs, and bird eggs.  THey also have no predators.

This was the last day of playing and we tryed are hardest.  Why couldnt we go on like we should have? Today was are last day of playing time. We almost beat the eleghant level but it didnt work because the flamingos wernt drinking and the eleghants ran off, doing there on thing.  Everytime 1 of them died they would come back to the water hole and then when we put more in they would also run away.  Weird.
