Scibe Post

Learning Target:Comparing and ordering decimals

Lesson:STEP 1:Find the least common multible of eacch denomonater or least common denomonater.

Step 2:Rewrite each fraction using least common denomonater.

Example:Lets say your trying to find out if 4/16 is bigger, equal, or smaller than 7/28.  First you find the LCM of all the denomonaters.  It would be 112.  112 divided by 16 equals 7.  Then you multiply 4 by 7.  It is 28.  Then you divide 7 by 7 and get 49.  So 4/16 would turn into 28/112 and 7/28 would turn into 49/112.so 4/16 would be smaller than 7/28 because49/112 is bigger than 4/16, and the bigger numerater the larger the fraction.

Solor Water Blog Project

Problem:Whitch solor water heater backround works better, WHITE OR BLACK? Will tempeture increase more?

Hypothosist:If i make the backround black and cover it with a transloosent lid then its heat will increase the most.

Results: Black coverd increased in heat the most.

Conclusion: A black solor heater coverd increased the most.

Changes For Next Time: Go out on a warmer day.  Use foil on the lid.  Use bigger container to make bigger water heater.

New Questions: Does the amount of water affect the amount the heat rises.

This is my solor water heater.  it has a black backround and a lid on it.  It atracted the most heat.
