This is a picture of a very hard tessellation to make.  If you look really hard you will see the patten that is translated over and over again. the green ones are the middle of the tessellation.  This tessellation is a semiregular tessellation.

Each vertex has some polygons around it, the interior angles =360 degrees.

the learning target is "comparing and ordering fractions."

Lesson

to compare fractions you must do a primefactorazation tree to find the least comon multiple. Take that least comon multiple and use it as your denominator.  Whatever number you multiplied to the denominator you also multiply by the numerator.  You can than tell which number is larger
