Fall Out Boy

      This post is about a band named Fall Out Boy. They originated in Chicago, Illinois. The bad consists of the lead singer and lead guitarits Patrick Stump, bass guitarist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joseph Trohman, and drumer Andrew Hurlely. (Fast Fact: Fall Out Boy got their name from a member in the audience.) This group made its first album called Evening Out With Your Girlfriend in 2003. Andrew Hurley didn't join until after their first album was released. That same year Fall Out Boy made their second album called Take This To Your Grave. This album achieved gold status.

      In 2005 Pete Wentz tried to attempt suicide. The song called "I Got A Dark Ally And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth (Summer Song) from the album From Under The Cork Tree (released in 2005) is inspiered by Pete's attempt of suicied. Some other songs on this album are "Dance Dance"(Fast Fact: "Dance Dance" was inspiered by the music of Danny Elfman), "Sugar We're Going Down", and "XO". From Under The Cork Tree sold over 70,000 copies and achieved Double Platinum status. "Suger We're Going Down" music video won an MTV2 music award in 2005. The band was nominated "Best New Artist" in the 2006 Grammy awards. The band was in the soundtrack for Tony Hawks American Wastland video that was released in October 2005. Fall Out Boy has toured with bands like The All-American Rejects.

adding and subtracting fractions

Learning Target: adding and subtracting fractoins with common denomonaters.

Lesson: to get the sum you keep the denominater the same and add the numerator.

Example: 3/7+2/7=5/7, 4/10+3/10=7/10, 2/5-1/5=1/5.
