Learning Target
Use strategies to develop formulas for finding the circumfrence of circles.
In class, we figured out some of the strategies to develop formulas for finding the circumfrence of circles. We found out how to find the circumfrence of a circle with only knowing the diameter, and we learned that the circumfrence, divided by the diameter, equals pi, or 3.14. We also solved a little bit of problems for finding the circumfrence.
Example Problem
Lesson
The circumfrence divided by the diameter has the qoutient of pi, or 3.14. Also to find the circumfrence of a cirlce, you need to multiply the diameter by pi.
