In our last unit of the year (yeah!), we will be covering probability. The following questions are about the photo above. They will assess what you already know about probability.
1) How many possible OUTCOMES are there when tossing a die?
2) What is the THEORETICAL probability of tossing a 1? Write your answer as a fraction.
3) Suppose you toss the die 20 times and a 6 comes up on 3 of those tosses? What is the EXPERIMENTAL probability? Write as a fraction.
4) Suppose you toss the die twice. What is the probability of rolling a 2 both times?
